OUTSPOKEN: PHILIPPINES’ FIRST LGBT TALK SHOW LAUNCHES

13 May 2019

OUTSPOKEN, the Philippines’ first LGBTQI talk show, provides a platform to discuss and raise awareness of LGBTQI issues.

Episode 1 focuses on equality of representation in the media.

The series is produced by Rhadem Morados, in partnership with TEAM Magazine and the Asia Pacific Film Institute, and in collaboration with ASEAN SOGIE Caucus and Mujer.

GiveOut is proud to support OUTSPOKEN through the ASEAN SOGIE Caucus.

Rhadem Morados is a gay Filipino activist filmmaker from Zamboanga City, Mindanao. He is a Muslim and his activism centres on bringing together Muslim and LGBTQI communities and encouraging understanding, tolerance and peace. Earlier this year, GiveOut interviewed Rhadem for its Activist Spotlight series.
