GTU campaigns for the rights of Guyana’s trans community through human rights advocacy, promoting respect and acceptance, and empowering trans individuals by offering essential support and services. GTU supports the trans community to navigate HIV pathways and access gender-affirming care, as well as provide skills training and other economic empowerment programmes. They also document cases of human rights abuses support victims of violence and abuse.
