TransWave is dedicated to promoting the health and wellbeing of transgender, gender non-conforming and intersex communities in Jamaica. Their advocacy focuses on all areas of trans lives, including legal gender recognition, non-discriminatory and gender-affirming healthcare, and access to employment. Their work includes conducting community-based workshops, facilitating regional transgender training for healthcare professionals, and delivering job preparation workshops for the transgender community.
