Founded by Rosanna Flamer-Caldera, one of Time Magazine’s 100 Most Influential People of 2024, Equal Ground is Sri Lanka’s most well established LGBTQI organisation. Equal Ground works to produce research and advocates to improve access to health, education, housing and legal protection of the LGBTQI community. They do this by engaging with Sri Lanka Police, allies, politicians and local government authorities across all nine provinces of Sri Lanka.
