The Initiative for Equal Rights (TIERs) is a Nigerian organisation working to create a society where human rights are guaranteed regardless of status, identity, orientation and affiliation. Their key work includes advocacy, empowerment, education, strategic litigation, research, storytelling and the provision of safe platforms of convergence. This includes maintaining a national LGBTQI hotline to provide real time emergency support, legal aid and health services as well as to document and report on human rights abuses.
