Tonga Leitis Association has been supporting the trans and gender non-conforming community in Tonga for over 30 years. The organisation works on human rights, health, education, law reform, capacity building and development. They also engage in community-based organising to build trust and change attitudes. To support the LGBTQI community in the face of climate change, they provide training to humanitarian shelters and campaign to include the LGBTQI community in climate change consultations.
