Double Your Impact This Pride: Donations Matched Through the LGBTQI Solidarity Fund

This Pride Month, every donation to GiveOut will be matched, doubling your impact through our LGBTQI Solidarity Fund. From now until 30 June, you can help unlock urgently needed funding for LGBTQI organisations on the frontlines of change.

Across the globe, LGBTQI organisations are facing seismic shifts in the funding landscape, putting their survival, and the continuation of their vital work, increasingly at risk. As Pride Month begins, a time to celebrate our identities and communities, we also recognise the urgent need for solidarity. While some of us are free to march, protest and celebrate, many around the world are facing growing hostility and even bans on Pride itself.

Donate now to double your impact and support the global movement for LGBTQI rights

To support action, we’ve also launched a new Fundraising Guide—a practical resource full of creative ideas to help individuals, workplaces, and communities fundraise for global LGBTQI rights. Whether you’re hosting an event, marking a personal milestone, or rallying your colleagues, the toolkit is designed to make taking action easy and impactful.

“Pride is not just a month, it’s a movement. This June, we’re asking our community and allies to come together in solidarity and support LGBTQI organisations doing vital work in some of the hardest places to be LGBTQI. With every donation matched, your support can go twice as far.”

Background on the LGBTQI Solidarity Fund

Around the world, LGBTQI people are at risk, and hard-won rights are being rolled back. LGBTQI activists are defending their communities and challenging dangerous new anti-LGBTQI laws, but they receive only a fraction of global funding and need more support.

The LGBTQI Solidarity Fund is an initiative by GiveOut to mobilise the UK LGBTQI community and allies to show their collective support for LGBTQI organisations globally. With support from foundations and the UK government through the Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office (FCDO), GiveOut has built a pool of match funding to double the impact of donations.

Through the Solidarity Fund, GiveOut is providing grants to LGBTQI organisations working in contexts where communities are under threat and resources are scarce. The Fund aims to raise £3 million over four years to significantly increase funding for LGBTQI activism and provide sustainable, long-term support.
